Robert A. Miller, MA, MS

Partner

Robert A. Miller, M.S., M.A. is a Partner at Miller-Pomerantz in New York, New York. Robert and his partners service over six thousand clients.

Robert became NAIFA’s President in September 2011 at the organization’s Career Conference and Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. A past president of NAIFA-New York City and NAIFA-New York State, Robert’s outstanding service to these organizations has been recognized with the Ben Brewster Government Relations, Julian Myrick, and Spencer L. McCarty awards. He is a graduate of the NAIFA Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) and is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT is recognized throughout the industry as the standard of excellence in life insurance sales performance).

Robert was elected to the NAIFA Board of Trustees in 2005 and has served as trustee liaison to the CEO Outreach Program, the Young Advisors Team and the Corporate Partnerships Program. He also served as chair of the NAIFA Governance Committee and was a member of the NAIFA Finance Committee.

Robert resides in New York, New York with his wife, Kathy.

Lloyd Pomerantz, LUTCF®

Lloyd Pomerantz joined Miller & Associates in 1999 where he quickly became partner and the name changed to Miller-Pomerantz Insurance and Financial Services. Lloyd became a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* member in 2010 and works with his clients with insurance, retirement, investment, and long term care planning. Many of his clients are corporate executives, professionals and small business owners. He believes in our process where we will first meet with our clients to gain a clear understanding of their concerns and objectives then help and design a plan to meet these goals and concerns. Lloyd stresses that here at Miller-Pomerantz we pride ourselves on our promptness, accuracy and integrity in providing our clients with all their personal and business insurance needs.

Matthew N. Pomerantz

Adviser

Matthew Pomerantz graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and International Business. Matthew is a third generation advisor and offers insurance, retirement, investment, and long term care planning to his clients. He also offers financial planning* to his clients through Eagle Strategies. Matthew lives in New York City with his fiancé Amanda and while not working enjoys traveling, golfing and skiing.

Sheldon F. Schiff

Financial Services Professional

Sheldon Schiff began his career in the insurance industry as a New York Life agent in 1992. Sheldon's primary focus has always been the "small" family owned businesses. These are usually very busy, competitive people in a whole host of different industries. He works with executive and employee benefits plus the continuation of the business. Sheldon will discuss and plan for the "what if" in life.

Sidney M. Miller

Emeritus

Sidney Miller started selling Life Insurance in 1951 and continued doing what he loved until his death in 2013. Sidney had a great ability to connect with people, read them, and have conversations with them. Over a 60 year career Sid built his business by making each client feel as if they were his only client. He treated the person in the mail room the same as he treated the CEO. Sidney was able to grow Miller-Pomerantz to over 6,000 clients.
